  • Keep enough printed copies of Cover Letter / CV and present them in plastic cover whenever requested by companies.
  • Create your account on Jobs Website such ( Dubizzle, Gulf Talent,  Linked in, Bayt, Monster Gulf,  Naukri Gulf, GN Careers, Indeed) and keep on eye on daily new job postings.
  • Try to brush up on your Communication Skills to further enhance the scope of employment (English Language). Proficiency in the English language is must for most jobs. Knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Prepare yourself for tricky interview questions (such as "tell us about your weakness/strengths" and how long you will work for our company?). 
  • If you don't have a personal laptop, then get one as it can come in handy for job hunting.
  •  Download and install RTA Smart Drive App on your smartphone from Play Store.  RTA Smart Drive app is very useful navigation app that works without the Internet.
  • Download and install  RTA Journey Planning App "WOJHATI" on your smartphone.
  • Try to register companies, with reputable recruitment companies, however never pay them any amount regarding service charges. Professional Recruitment companies do not charge any fee from candidates.
  •  Arrange 15 to 20 Printed copies of your passport size picture with white Background. The picture with Blue and other backgrounds are currently not widely accepted.
  • Printed copies of Passport 1st page and visa copy.
  • You can travel with maximum 10 Thousand US Dollar. 
  • Better to keep your Visa Debit / Credit Card with you. 
  • Whats app Calling is blocked in U.A.E as per instructed by U.A.E telecom authority. 
  • Proxy soft wares are now considered illegal in U.A.E.
  • Sharing / Executive accommodation for Bachelors in Dubai are available in different areas such as International City, Satwa, Bur Dubai, Karama, Dera Qusais. However, you can easily find a lodging of your choice through Dubizzle.com and other online websites.
  • New arrivals in Dubai may find it difficult to secure a job within a month or two, in that case, it's always advisable to get visa extension good for another 3 to 4 months.
  •  The month of Ramadan and December are the least favorable time of the year to look for employment since most of the companies and business enterprises go on a temporary hiatus.
